| Round Annapurna + Chitwan National Park - September 2008 This was a fantastic trekking holiday, 3 of us from Australia and 2 friends from Germany. We arranged the trek over the internet and met Mere at our hotel on our first day in K athmandu which was exactly as we had arranged. He organised passes, transport, as well as helping us with a little shopping before starting our trekking adventure. Mere assembled an excellent support team: - a second guide as well as three porters. The whole team were great, they all spoke English, always helpful and always watching out for us as well as our belongings. To top it off, they all had a great sense of humour. We found Mere to be very knowledgeable and having a mountaineer as a guide was very comforting especially in the landslide regions and over the Thorang La pass. I have no reservations in recommending Mere to you as your guide, and I will definitely be using Mere’s services next time I return to Nepal. Murray Robinson (Australia) |

7 days trek and 3 days Chitwan national park,SONJA From Belgium
October 2008 we arrived in Kathmandu to start our honeymoon. Also our first vacation in a non European country, so very exciting.
We met Mere in our hotel , he told and showed us where we could change Euro’s in Nepali rupees, he also advised us where it was good for us tourists to eat to avoid stomach problems.
We also had some free time in our program and we asked for example if there was something special to see in Pokhara and he showed us a beautiful cave and an incredible Stupa.
He was always around us if we needed any information or to show us the way.We had great and serious the conversations but also very good laughs and jokes.Mere is a nice and peaceful person with great knowledge of mountaineering , trekking and city skills.
Mere contributed to an unforgettable vacation.

Mere Karki was our sirdar and climbing guide on a trip to Mera Peak in October/November 2007. It was a private expedition for four people, and I was the group organizer. Mere Karki was excellent. He ran a happy and hard working team of cooks and porters, and we had an enjoyable and successful trip. I can recommend Mere Karki without reservation.
