Mera summit back to Mera pass. Then the trail splits again either to Amphu Laptse pass and Sherpani Col pass or the trail heads to the Lukla.
Actually Mera peak is not very technical however you need all the basic equipment of any peak climbing.you need to walk a bit long way to summit, nowadays crevases has appeared just bellow than 30, 40 metre from the top where you need to use all the mountaineering equipments.

Itinery of Mera Peak
Day 01: Kathmandu to Lukla flight trek to Chuthanga same day
It takes 3 to 4 hours in normal walking, where serene forest of Rhododendren and others vegetation are remained. This place has own its special features, it is itself is a unique place. It is usefull for four season in various purpose like in trekking season small tea shops remain opened for tourists/ trekkers hospitalities. You can accommodate in tent . And in off season used to take domesticated cattles. This area is controlled by Makalu Barun National Park.
Note: You will see very beautifull flowers from 15th April to Ist week of the May.
Day 02 : Chuthanga to Chhetrabu
It takes 6 to 7 hours in normal walking, you need to pass almost 4450m. Chhetra la pass. It is also seems to be really serene and deserted as well. Fromwhere greenaries vegetations, beautifull hills, few mountains' renges and unique kinds of geographical landscapes are seen along the trail between Chutanga and Chetrabu.
Day 03 : Chhetrabu to Kothe
Between Chhetrabu to Kothe it will be founded very peacefull pastures and jungles. After one hours walking Mera peak can be seen from Deurali alongside others mountains ranges are seen from the same palce. Along the trail of Chhetrabu to Kothe mixtured kinds of features will be seen like different kinds of vegetations, people, animals, River nd so on. Among of these plants some are medicinal as well. You need to walk down up to 1000m. to 1100m in this days.
Day 04 : Kothe to Thangnak
Trail goes along the Inkhu River which is originated from the glacier of square mountain, alnong the trail there are lots of renges of mountains, like Kusum Kanguru, Square mountain which is also Holly mountain as wll. During the trekking between Kothe to Thangnak, there is serene pastures of Yak and Nak, Sheeps and normal cows' as well. This area is really very beautifull for wild loving pepole. Helpful sherpa People and their small tea houses are consists there. This aera is remained almost 4200m. So you need to be acclimatised for the rest of the journey or you can make rest in Khare too.
Day 05 : Thangnak to Khare
It takes 4 to 5 hours in normal wolking. It is really beautiful landscapes which gives new experince being a unique on the Earth. In the interval of Thangnak and Khare lots of charming mountains are seen like Khangtega, Peak 41, and much more. In Khare you need to take one day rest for the acclimatization. There are some tea houses who provides you tea and coffee etc....
Day 06: Khare to Mera Base Camp
It take 4 to 5 hours, only necessary things will be carried, after Khare there is really wilderness or remote area. Almost snow line starts after the Khare so there is lack of oxigen, you can't walk very fast, you need to follow your guide's instruction.Trail is rocky you need to be really very be careful too. You will gain some experince against the mountain. you should be equiped after two hours from Khare. porters should be equiped for the Base Camp and High Camp. Actually this place is also really serene and beautiful. Tibetan Chakur and other tiny birds will be seen along the trail.
Day 07: Mera Base Camp to Mera High Camp
Along the Mera Base Camp to Mera High Camp walking will be on the snow, where you need to pass/ cross some crevases as well. All of you should becareful. Along the trail of Mera Pass and High Camp you will see Mt. Makalu, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Kanchanjugha , Mt. Chamlang and rest of many mountains as well. After Mera Base Camp, our staffs carry only necessary things for the one night. Between Mera Base Camp and High Camp you will see really peaceful environment. Krampons and climbing boots are necessary there.
Day 08 : High Camp to Mera Summit
Only climbers' crew s are allowed to go after High Camp to Summit. It is necessary to be started earlier in the morning. It takes 8 to 9 hours. After 10 am. starts wind and very much strong sun ray's reflection. So, to be summited before 9 is would be much bette. Fromwhere you will see lots of mountains ranges like Lhotse, Nupse, Amadablam, Everest, Makakau and so on. Your guide or map tell you on the spot. Below than 35 or 40 m. there is big crevasso you need to use all your climbing equipments. Your guide will fix rope for ascendinfg and descending. Rest of the things depends on your guide or your climbing idea.
Day 09 : back to High Camp to Base Camp to Khare in same day
Day 10 : Khare to Kothe
Day 11 : Kothe to Chhetrabu
Day 12 : Chhetrabu to Chhuthanga
Day 13 : Chhuthanga to Lukla
Day 14 : Lukla to Kathmandu flight out
